Bridget is an Australian, internationally acclaimed aerialist and acrobat. She began as a gymnast and musician before moving her diverse skillset into the world of Circus. Moving to Montreal in 2015, Bridget trained in aerial straps, dance trapeze and hand balancing under some of the industry’s leading coaches. This led to her journey from athlete to artist, working with some of Cirque Du Soleil’s top choreographers and directors.

 

Bridget has performed acts featuring her unique blend of strength, elegance and charisma around the world for some of the world’s biggest companies including Cirque du Soleil, Montreal Complètement Cirque, Les Productions Haut Vol and

 Vague de Cirque. She also presented acts at Cirque Éloize and La Tohu in Montreal and Spiegelworld in Las Vegas. Nationally she has performed at the City Recital Hall with The Freestyle Orchestra, After Dark Theatre’s national tour, with Bernie Dieter’s Klub Kabarett at Melbourne Fringe, Circus Wonderland and Rouge gone Rogue at Adelaide Fringe, Fringe for Kids, Popcorn Underground at festivals around Australia, including Floriade and in Witch with BassFamCreative at Sydney’s Spiegeltent. Recently she performed in an all-star cast of SMASHED: the nightcap at the Sydney Theatre company, with Sydney Festival.

 

Bridget has a B.A in linguistics and Japanese from Sydney University, coaching qualifications in gymnastics and personal training. She has taught workshops both nationally and internationally in multiple aerial disciplines and handstands and has worked as a model in both photography and videography.

The pandemic may have put a dampener on most in the industry, however Bridget’s relocation back to Sydney demonstrated her resilience and passion for the arts. She dusted the cobwebs off her viola as well as entering into the world of pole dancing, where she has since performed on multiple stages and in competitions.
